Every year Reserve Bank of India (RBI) conducts RBI Grade B 2018 Officer Exam to select eligible candidates for the position of Grade B officer in its various branches across the country. RBI GRADE B 2018 EXAM NOTIFICATION:

RBI will release the recruitment notification for the post of RBI Grade B Officer by 3rd July 2018 (Tentative). RBI Grade B 2018 exam has a three-phase selection process. Phase I exam is scheduled on 16th August 2018 and phase – II will be on 7th September 2018 and the candidates who will clear phase II Exam will be called for final interview.

RBI GRADE B SALARY 2018

All selected candidates through RBI Grade B 2018 exam will be given the annual salary of 12 – 14 lac, along with this CTC comes numerous emoluments and perks.  The pay scale for RBI Grade B Officer is ₹ 2/35150 – 1750(9)- 50900-EB-1750(2)-54400-2000(4)-62400.

This means that you will have basic pay ₹ 35150/- in which you will get an increment of ₹ 1750/- up till 9 Years of your service, after that will be promoted to executive band where basic pay will be ₹ 50900/- and then again next two Years increment of ₹ 1750/- and further up to ₹ 2000/- thus ending up with basic pay ₹ 62,400/- and this when you don’t get any promotion. Apart from the basic pay, multiple emoluments such as dearness allowance, house rent allowance, family allowance, telephone allowance, etc. Will also be provided.

RBI GRADE B 2018 EXAM PATTERN:

The Exam is conducted in three phases:

  • Phase I Exam
  • Phase II Exam
  • Interview process

Candidates are requested to clear all the three phases in order to get confirmed post as a Grade B Officer in Reserve Bank of India.

RBI GRADE B OFFICER INTERVIEW PROCESS:

Candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on aggregate marks obtained in paper I, paper II and paper III of phase II Exam. An interview process will carry 50 marks.

RBI GRADE B 2018 EXAM SYLLABUS

The syllabus for this exam is similar to normal other bank exams. The major section from which the question being asked are:

  • Reasoning
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • General Awareness
  • English Language

Apart from above mentioned three sections in mains exam, an additional section of English (Written Skills) is also present through which a candidate is tested on his/her writing skills.

RBI GRADE B 2018 ELIGIBILITY

Candidates should be eligible as per below criteria for RBI Grade B 2018 exam.

  • Must be a citizen of India
  • Must be a subject of Nepal
  • Must be a subject of Bhutan
  • Must be a Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 who has the intention of settling permanently in India.
  • A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India

AGE CRITERIA:

  • Minimum Age: 21 Years
  • Minimum Age: 30 Years

The age relaxation for reserved category will be as per rules decided by the board.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:

Candidates who are appearing for the exam must be graduate from Recognized University or institute.

  • He / She must have attained 60% marks in graduation while 50% reduced if Candidates belongs to reserved category.
  • He/She is having a doctorate degree with aggregate 50% marks are also eligible.
  • He/She is having Master degree with aggregate 55% marks are also eligible.
  • Candidates having graduation in diploma in Management or masters of business administration and CA are also eligible for this examination

RBI GRADE B EXAM APPLICATION FEE:

  • General: ₹ 850/-
  • OBC: ₹ 850/-
  • SC / ST / PWD: ₹ 750/-

RBI GRADE B 2018 ADMIT CARD

The RBI Grade B admit card 2017 will be released separately for both phase I & phase II Exam. The phase II Exam admit card will be available to those who will qualified phase I exam of RBI Grade B.
